The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Finmere is a member of the Shelswell group of parishes.
St Michael & All Angels church is situated in a slightly elevated position, up a small track, off the "Y" junction formed by Valley road, Fullwell road and Water Stratford road. See the Benefice map
The original church was built in the 13th. century, but the current church dates back to the 14th century.
The church features a unique 17th century clock housed in the bell tower.
The church also contains an organ,
manufactured between 1799 - 1822, details of which may be found in the National Pipe Organ Register
In 2005, treasure was discovered, long forgotten in the bottom of a cupboard in the Vestry. The 'treasure' is now held for display in the Treasury, Christ Church Cathedral.
